Evolved around 600 ВС, ayurveda stresses on the prevention of body ailments, in addition to curing them. The science of life, ayurveda used to be a system of traditional medicine and hence the knowledge associated with this branch of science was unknown to the common public. Today, it is a unique, indispensable branch of medicine - a complete natural healing system that depends on the diagnosis of body's humours - vata, pitta and kapha - to achieve the right balance.
